Intensively growing and huge amount of digital video data already existing should be managed, so the video shot boundary detection is the vital step and first step. Each algorithm aimed here should accurately detect the boundaries between numbers of shots present in the video. So here Histogram Difference Video shot detection methods are used along with that a new methodology is followed to detect the shots that is by using different colour model.
