This paper deals with a control strategy for the parallel operation of single phase voltage source inverters. The parallel arrangement is carried out without any connection impedance and each inverter operates independently. The proposed control strategy allows proper load current sharing and avoids current circulation between the inverters. The control strategy used is droop control which consists of adjusting the output voltage frequency and amplitude in function of active and reactive power delivered by the inverter. The control system of each inverter has two main loops. The inner loop controls the power flow of each inverter to the load. The second loop is responsible for controlling the output of LC filter that coincides with output of VSI.
